Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure safe and effective results.
• Manage laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently.
• Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and polishing to keep all flooring surfaces in excellent condition.
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or equipment with proper technique to prevent injury.
• Maintain organization of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring all tools are sanitized and stored properly for optimal use.
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific needs and provide tailored housekeeping services that exceed expectations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or janitorial roles with knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care, and sanitation standards.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, mops, buffers, and other janitorial tools.
• Strong understanding of cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper handling procedures for safe use.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safety protocols.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple residences or assignments.
• Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their specific housekeeping needs.
• Outdoor work experience is a plus for properties requiring exterior maintenance or outdoor cleaning tasks.
• Knowledge of residential housekeeping best practices combined with custodial experience enhances service quality.
