Housekeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper or Laundry Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in the facility, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for residents and staff alike. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, with a focus on quality service and attention to detail. Prior experience in cleaning, hospitality, or custodial services is highly valued, though training will be provided for those eager to develop their skills in housekeeper responsibilities.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of resident rooms, public areas, restrooms, offices and dining rooms
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness through dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
• Care for floors by performing sweeping, scrubbing
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials
• Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a safe working environment
• Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties to management

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, hospitality, or custodial services is preferred; experience in hotel housekeeping or industrial cleaning is a plus
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and other janitorial tools effectively
• Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and walking long distances within the facility
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following established procedures and safety guidelines
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; prior experience in housekeeper management is advantageous but not required

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
