Housekeeper

Lydia Mountain is seeking experienced, dependable, and detail-oriented housekeepers to join our short-term rental housekeeping team. This position focuses primarily on cleaning and preparing vacation cabins and mountain homesbetween guest stays.

Our housekeepers play an important role in the guest experience. Each property must be thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, restocked, and presented according to Lydia Mountain standards before the next guest arrives. Because our rental properties are located throughout the mountain and surrounding area, applicants must have a valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete turnover cleaning of short-term rental cabins and mountain homes, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, porches, and other guest spaces.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, sanitize surfaces, clean appliances, and thoroughly clean bathrooms and kitchens.
• Strip beds and remake them with fresh linens according to property standards.
• Wash, dry, fold, organize, and restock linens and towels as required.
• Check properties for cleanliness, presentation, and missing or damaged items before guest arrival.
• Restock designated guest and housekeeping supplies.
• Clean outdoor guest areas, porches, decks, entrances, and outdoor furniture when needed.
• Report maintenance concerns, damages, excessive messes, or missing items promptly to management.
• Properly use and maintain cleaning products, supplies, and equipment.
• Work independently and manage time effectively to ensure properties are guest-ready by the required check-in time.
• Travel between multiple cabins and mountain homes during scheduled shifts as needed.
• Weekend and holiday availability is required based on guest departures and arrivals.

Qualifications

• Previous professional housekeeping experience is required.
• Short-term rental, vacation rental, hotel, cabin, or residential cleaning experience is strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle are required.
• Dependable attendance and the ability to work independently are essential.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to recognize when something does not meet guest-ready standards.
• Ability to safely perform physical housekeeping duties, including bending, reaching, carrying supplies, climbing stairs, and lifting heavier items when necessary.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Must be comfortable driving to mountain properties and working in a variety of cabin and home settings.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
