Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization to maintain a spotless environment.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure health and safety standards are met.
• Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing.
• Clean floors using various techniques such as sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor care to keep surfaces pristine.
• Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces and fixtures by applying proper cleaning methods and products.
• Manage janitorial supplies inventory, ensuring all cleaning equipment and detergents are stocked and maintained properly.
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs and provide exceptional customer service during each visit.
• Safely perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting or outdoor work when necessary to complete cleaning duties effectively.
• Follow established custodial practices while adhering to health regulations and safety guidelines for sanitation.
• Organize your schedule efficiently through effective time management to maximize productivity across multiple client locations.

Skills

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures.
• Expertise in cleaning surfaces, floors, carpets, and outdoor areas with appropriate tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and sanitation products along with proper usage protocols.
• Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively while maintaining equipment in good condition.
• Strong manual handling skills with the physical stamina to perform heavy lifting tasks comfortably.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the workday.
• Exceptional customer service abilities with clear communication skills for client interactions.
• Experience in residential housekeeping management or outdoor work environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques including polishing, stripping, waxing, or deep-cleaning carpets enhances service quality.
