Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency
• Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ requests promptly and professionally
• Conduct detailed floor care routines including carpet cleaning, polishing hard floors, and maintaining overall floor appearance
• Manage janitorial supplies inventory and ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored
• Support housekeeping management in coordinating schedules, training new team members, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping roles
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and floor care methods including carpet cleaning
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery
• Familiarity with laundry procedures and equipment operation is preferred
• Previous janitorial or hotel housekeeping experience is highly advantageous
• Basic understanding of safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment
