Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents.
• Implement proper sanitation procedures to ensure hygienic living environments, including bathroom and kitchen sanitation.
• Manage laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques.
• Handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting and outdoor work when necessary, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Use janitorial and custodial experience to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or housekeeping management preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor cleaning methods, carpet cleaning techniques, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to handle cleaning detergents safely and follow proper sanitation procedures.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the day.
• Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent client communication skills to understand preferences and deliver personalized service.
• Prior experience with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, and other janitorial tools is highly desirable.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
