Housekeeper

Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing.
• Maintain floor care through sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and polishing to preserve a polished appearance.
• Manage outdoor work responsibilities such as patio cleaning or yard tidying when necessary.
• Use manual handling techniques safely for heavy lifting tasks related to furniture or large cleaning supplies.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and provide personalized service that enhances their experience.

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or custodial roles with knowledge of janitorial practices.
• Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, floors, carpets, and upholstery using appropriate equipment and cleaning agents.
• Strong understanding of sanitation standards and procedures to prevent contamination and ensure safety.
• Ability to manage time efficiently to complete tasks within scheduled windows while maintaining quality.
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, outdoor work, and prolonged periods of standing or walking.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their preferences and needs.
• Prior experience in housekeeping management or residential housekeeping is preferred but not required.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
