Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of living spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing.
• Maintain impeccable floor care by sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to keep surfaces spotless and safe.
• Ensure all areas are sanitized according to health guidelines, paying special attention to kitchens and bathrooms.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to residents’ or guests’ requests for additional cleaning or assistance.
• Manage janitorial tasks such as restocking supplies, emptying trash bins, and maintaining cleaning equipment.
• Support housekeeping management with inventory control and reporting any maintenance or safety issues immediately.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments; hotel or custodial experience is highly desirable.
• Skilled in various cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, sanitation practices, and laundry operations.
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills to interact professionally with residents or guests.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending frequently.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Experience with housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required.
