Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of all surfaces, including dusting, vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, and sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment
• Manage laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care and efficiency
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health standards and safety regulations
• Handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting and outdoor work as needed for yard or exterior cleaning projects
• Maintain organized cleaning supplies inventory, operate janitorial equipment safely, and perform routine maintenance on cleaning tools
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning preferences or special requests
• Ensure timely completion of daily tasks while managing multiple client appointments through excellent time management skills

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services with knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care, and carpet cleaning techniques
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, and other janitorial tools
• Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures focusing on sanitation standards and safety protocols
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs and expectations
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, outdoor work, and prolonged periods of standing or walking
• Knowledge of various cleaning agents including disinfectants and detergents; ability to select appropriate products for different surfaces
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple properties or shifts

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
