Housekeeper

The Wellings of Picton is a vibrant community for independent adults who are 55+.

We are currently looking for reliable and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our members (residents) and guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain member suites, common areas, and washrooms
• Dust, vacuum, mop floors, and sanitize surfaces
• Make beds and change linens as required
• Replenish supplies such as toiletries and paper products
• Remove garbage and recycling
• Follow proper cleaning and infection control procedures
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to management
• Assist with laundry duties when required
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure high standards are met

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Physically able to perform cleaning tasks (lifting, bending, standing)
• Knowledge of health and safety standards is an asset

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
