Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment
• Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, common areas, and bedrooms by replenishing supplies and ensuring hygiene standards are met
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items with care and efficiency
• Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to promote a safe working environment for yourself and others
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisors for quick resolution
• Restock cleaning supplies and equipment as needed to ensure operational readiness
• Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality, security, and respectful interactions with residents or guests

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and steam cleaners effectively
• Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues clearly
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• A proactive attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

Pay: £12.71 per hour
