Housekeeper

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, energetic, and professional housekeeper to join our dedicated building staff. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene of all shared and public spaces within our busy, high-rise residential building.

The ideal candidate takes immense pride in their work, understands the high standards expected in a premier residential property, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Daily cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, garbage, and mopping of high-traffic areas, including the main lobby, hallways, elevator cabs, mailroom, and offices.
• Regular sanitizing, restocking, and detailing of public and staff restrooms throughout the property.
• Polishing brass and metal fixtures, wiping down glass entry doors, and keeping mirrored surfaces spotless.
• Emptying common area trash receptacles, breaking down cardboard, and ensuring the waste disposal room is clean and orderly.
• Regularly walking assigned floors and common spaces to identify maintenance or cleaning needs, reporting any damages or safety hazards to building management promptly.
• Maintaining a courteous, helpful, and professional demeanor when interacting with residents, guests, and contractors.

Experience

• Minimum of 1-2 years of professional cleaning experience, preferably within a high-rise residential building, hotel, or luxury commercial property.
• Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks independently in a busy environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout a standard shift.
• Reliable communication skills
• Neat, clean appearance and dependable, punctual attendance record.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
