Housekeeper

Job Summary

Mount Carmel, an established not-for-profit alcohol rehab provider with over 40 years’ history, is looking for a part-time Housekeeper to join our team and help maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day housekeeping tasks at Mount Carmel.

Job Role Profile

Liaising with the staff team, cook, and maintenance person.

Liaising with clients, including holding weekly meetings.

Organising orders- weekly food shop, cleaning and sundry household products, water cooler bottle supply.

Ensuring that bedrooms are ready for new clients and doing general laundry including bed linen.

Organising the external cleaners for the communal areas and oven.

Identifying maintenance issues and reporting them to either the housing association or the maintenance person.

Undergoing all appropriate training.

Following all Mount Carmel’s policies and procedures.

Working within Mount Carmel’s policies and procedures and actively promoting the equality and diversity and the rights of our client group.

Undertaking all other duties as deemed appropriate and commensurate with skills.

Job requirements

Pay: £13.00 per hour
