Housekeeper

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within our facilities, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards.
• Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and free of dust, dirt, and debris.
• Change linens, make beds, and replenish towels and toiletries as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms and facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to management.
• Adhere to all safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Collaborate with housekeeping management to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the property.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns.

Skills

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is preferred.
• Strong understanding of floor care techniques and equipment operation.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with guests and team members.
