About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our hospitality team in Bali. This is a crucial role that directly impacts guest satisfaction and the overall reputation of our establishment. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout our property, ensuring every guest experiences exceptional comfort and hygiene during their stay. This is a full-time position based on-site in Bali, where you will be an integral part of our housekeeping department.

Key responsibilities

• Cleaning and preparing guest rooms to the highest standards, including bedding changes, bathroom cleaning, and sanitisation of all surfaces
• Maintaining common areas such as corridors, lounges, dining areas and reception spaces to ensure a welcoming and pristine environment
• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing all assigned areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and products
• Restocking guest rooms with toiletries, towels, linens and other supplies in a timely and organised manner
• Responding promptly to guest requests and maintenance issues, reporting any damage or repairs needed to supervisors
• Following all health and safety protocols, including proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals
• Operating cleaning equipment safely and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies
• Working efficiently to meet daily cleaning schedules and targets whilst maintaining quality standards
• Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations and supporting colleagues when needed

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a Housekeeper in a hotel or hospitality setting
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining impeccable cleanliness standards
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the day
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently and meet daily targets
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, products and equipment used in professional housekeeping
• Understanding of health, safety and hygiene protocols specific to hospitality environments
• Ability to work flexibly, including early mornings, evenings and weekends as required
• Good communication skills and a professional, respectful attitude towards guests and colleagues
• Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic
• Preferred experience in a tropical or resort destination setting
