Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of all residential areas, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents
• Implement proper sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met consistently
• Manage laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
• Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques to keep surfaces spotless and safe
• Use manual handling skills for heavy lifting of furniture or equipment while adhering to safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific needs and provide personalized housekeeping services
• Ensure all cleaning surfaces are sanitized regularly and cleaning equipment is maintained in excellent condition
• Assist with outdoor work when necessary, such as patio or porch cleaning, ensuring the exterior environment matches the interior cleanliness standards

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles, with janitorial or outdoor work experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and the use of various cleaning detergents and equipment
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout each shift
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and understand their expectations
• Familiarity with carpet cleaning techniques and floor care methods for different surfaces
• Experience in managing housekeeping tasks independently or as part of a team in residential settings

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
