Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of living or working spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently.
• Manage floor care tasks including carpet cleaning, polishing hard floors, and applying appropriate treatments to preserve flooring quality.
• Assist with outdoor work activities like yard cleanup or patio maintenance when required.
• Use manual handling techniques safely to lift heavy furniture or equipment during cleaning or rearrangement tasks.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored, maintained, and replenished as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents’ or clients’ specific needs professionally and courteously.
• Follow sanitation protocols rigorously to uphold health standards in all areas of responsibility.
• Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or supply shortages promptly.

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping roles is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, sanitation procedures, and laundry operations.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work activities.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the shift.
• Customer service-oriented mindset with professional communication skills.
• Experience with carpet cleaning equipment, custodial tools, and commercial cleaning products is preferred.
• Familiarity with housekeeping management practices and outdoor maintenance is a plus.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks daily.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
