Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency
• Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly
• Care for floors through sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor polishing to keep surfaces looking their best
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to residents’ or clients’ requests and addressing any concerns professionally
• Manage janitorial supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing
• Assist with housekeeping management tasks such as scheduling or training new team members (if applicable)

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential cleaning, custodial work, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning environments
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, sanitation practices, and laundry procedures
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods, bending, and reaching
• Familiarity with janitorial equipment and cleaning products; certification in carpet cleaning or floor care is a plus
• Previous experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is advantageous but not required
• A proactive attitude with attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
