Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents.
• Implement sanitation procedures to ensure all areas meet health and safety standards.
• Conduct laundry services such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques.
• Use manual handling skills to lift heavy furniture or equipment safely during deep cleaning or rearrangement tasks.
• Manage outdoor work responsibilities such as patio or porch cleaning when applicable.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and provide personalized housekeeping services.
• Utilize janitorial and custodial experience to uphold high standards of cleanliness across all areas.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to proper handling procedures.
• Ensure all surfaces are cleaned thoroughly, paying close attention to detail in kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas.
• Manage time effectively to complete tasks within scheduled periods without compromising quality.

Experience

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards.
• Familiarity with cleaning techniques such as carpet extraction, floor polishing, dusting, and surface sanitation.
• Experience with laundry operations including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and stain removal.
• Knowledge of cleaning detergents and safe handling practices for various cleaning supplies.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently over extended periods.
• Previous custodial or janitorial experience is highly desirable for maintaining high hygiene standards.
• Outdoor work experience is a plus for managing exterior cleaning tasks when required.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their specific preferences and needs.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of housekeeping duties.

Pay: From $14.50 per hour
