Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of all rooms and surfaces.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health standards and safety regulations.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and other janitorial tools efficiently.
• Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care.
• Handle manual lifting of furniture, appliances, and supplies safely while adhering to proper handling techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas when required, including patio furniture or outdoor walkways.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service throughout your shift.

Experience

• Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments is highly preferred.
• Proven knowledge of cleaning detergents, surface care products, and proper sanitation practices.
• Experience operating various cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carpet extractors, and floor buffers.
• Familiarity with laundry procedures and handling delicate fabrics or specialized textiles.
• Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with physical stamina.
• Previous housekeeping management or custodial experience is advantageous for supervisory roles or complex household needs.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
