Housekeeper

About the role

We are looking for friendly, reliable and hardworking Housekeepers to join the team at Garner Hotel Preston Samlesbury.

As a Housekeeper, you will play an important part in making sure our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable and welcoming stay.

Your responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest bedrooms and bathrooms to a high standard.
• Change bed linen, towels and other room amenities.
• Vacuum, mop, dust and sanitise guest areas.
• Replenish toiletries and room supplies.
• Report maintenance issues, damage or missing items promptly.
• Follow hotel cleaning, health and safety standards.
• Work efficiently as part of the housekeeping team.
• Help maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

What we're looking for

• A positive, reliable and hardworking attitude.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good time-management skills.
• Previous hotel or housekeeping experience is desirable but not essential as training can be provided.
• Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays where required.
