Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of all residential areas, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents.
• Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for residents.
• Manage laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens.
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or supplies safely and effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to uphold high standards of floor care.
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service while managing their expectations.
• Use cleaning surfaces and janitorial equipment properly to maximize efficiency and safety during all cleaning activities.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines related to cleaning products, equipment use, and manual handling procedures.
• Manage time effectively to complete all assigned tasks within scheduled shifts while maintaining attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles, with knowledge of custodial practices preferred.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and sanitation procedures essential for maintaining hygiene standards.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work activities.
• Prior janitorial or custodial experience is advantageous; experience in residential housekeeping is highly valued.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, dusting techniques, and proper use of cleaning equipment required for optimal results.
• Demonstrated time management skills ensuring timely completion of daily duties without compromising quality.
