Housekeeper

We are seeking a dependable and detail oriented Hotel Housekeeper to help keep guest rooms and hotel areas clean, comfortable, and welcoming. This role includes cleaning and preparing guest rooms, replenishing supplies, responding to housekeeping requests, and reporting maintenance concerns. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows hotel procedures, and helps create a positive experience for every guest.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards and assigned schedules.
• Make beds; change linens; clean bathrooms; dust and wipe surfaces; vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Replenish towels, toiletries, and other room supplies.
• Provide stayover service and respond to guest requests according to hotel policy.
• Clean and maintain assigned public areas, such as hallways and common spaces.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, safety concerns, and rooms needing additional attention to a supervisor.
• Turn in lost and found items according to hotel procedures.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely, following labels and hotel guidelines.
• Keep housekeeping carts, storage areas, and equipment clean and organized.
• Communicate room status and special requests clearly with the housekeeping team and front desk.
• Respect guest privacy and follow hotel procedures for occupied rooms and access.

Requirements

• Previous hotel housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred; training may be provided.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work efficiently and manage assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes.
• Ability to follow instructions, checklists, safety procedures, and hotel standards.
• Friendly, professional communication with guests and team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push a housekeeping cart, and lift or move supplies as required, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
