Housekeeper

We are looking for an motivated and reliable Housekeeper to join the Orthopaedic Theatre team at the Royal Victoria Infirmary.

This is a vital role within a busy clinical environment, helping to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation to support safe and effective patient care.

Main duty is to keep all shared areas clean and tidy this include kitchen, changing rooms and main theatre corridors.

Be an effective member of the multi-disciplinary team assisting the Ward / Department to maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for the patients, their families and visitors.

Report any concerns regarding the patient’s condition to the qualified

nurse/Registered Clinician.

Maintain patient’s privacy and dignity at all times.

Report to the Nurse or Clinician in Charge any issues that may prevent cleaning or compromise the safety of the environment.

Actively contribute to the provision of nutrition of the patients on the Ward / Department.

May undertake administrative and clinical duties as required.

To abide by Trust policies and procedures.
