A local senior living community is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, sanitary, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

This position plays an important role in the overall resident experience. The ideal candidate understands that cleanliness is especially important in a senior living environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards throughout the facility.

Responsibilities include:

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms and apartments
• Clean bathrooms, bedrooms, common areas, hallways, dining areas, and other assigned spaces
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and clean surfaces
• Empty trash and properly dispose of waste
• Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces
• Change linens and assist with bedding as required
• Restock housekeeping and resident supplies
• Follow established sanitation and infection-control procedures
• Properly use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or damaged equipment
• Respect residents' personal belongings, privacy, and living spaces
• Interact professionally and courteously with residents, families, visitors, and staff
• Maintain housekeeping carts, closets, and supply areas in an organized manner
• Complete assigned cleaning schedules and additional housekeeping duties as needed

Requirements:

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, hospitality, healthcare, or senior living experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable and punctual
• Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a team
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and perform repetitive cleaning duties
• Comfortable working around senior residents
• Professional and respectful demeanor
• Knowledge of safe cleaning and sanitation practices preferred
• Must meet required background screening and employment requirements

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
