Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of all assigned areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and techniques
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet cleaning, and floor care procedures
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently
• Ensure all surfaces are sanitized according to health standards, including countertops, fixtures, and appliances
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ requests promptly and professionally
• Manage custodial tasks such as waste disposal, replenishing supplies, and maintaining cleaning equipment in good working order
• Assist with special cleaning projects like deep cleans or sanitation procedures during flu seasons or post-maintenance activities

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential cleaning, hotel housekeeping, janitorial work or related custodial roles
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, sanitation practices and commercial cleaning standards
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, bending, standing for extended periods and operating cleaning machinery
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Familiarity with laundry processes and equipment is preferred
• Previous experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus
• Certification or training in janitorial services or hotel housekeeping is advantageous

Pay: $13.75 - $15.00 per hour
