Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to uphold high cleanliness standards
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures effectively across all areas, utilizing appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment
• Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, scrubbing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to maintain pristine flooring surfaces
• Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items
• Handle manual lifting of furniture, supplies, and heavy cleaning equipment safely in accordance with proper manual handling techniques
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas when required by performing outdoor work tasks such as sweeping walkways or patio cleaning
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and ensure satisfaction with services provided

Skills

• Proven experience in residential housekeeping or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures
• Proficiency in using various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and dusters
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces including wood, tile, glass, and upholstery along with proper use of cleaning detergents and sanitizers
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during scheduled shifts
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to manual handling guidelines
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Experience in outdoor work environments is a plus for maintaining exterior spaces or patios
