Housekeeper

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents and guests. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation across residential spaces, ensuring each area is spotless, organized, and inviting. Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and surface sanitation to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and cleaning equipment to maintain health standards.
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently.
• Maintain floor care by sweeping, mopping, buffing, and applying protective finishes as needed to preserve flooring quality.
• Manage outdoor work responsibilities including patio or porch cleaning and outdoor surface maintenance when required.
• Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy furniture or equipment to prevent injury.
• Communicate effectively with clients or residents to understand their specific needs and ensure their satisfaction with the housekeeping services provided.

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or custodial work with knowledge of janitorial procedures.
• Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, floors, and the use of various cleaning detergents and equipment.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout your shift.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle outdoor work environments comfortably.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients or residents about their needs.
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation standards along with the ability to implement proper procedures consistently.
• Previous experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
