Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of all residential areas, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning, using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents.
• Implement proper sanitation procedures to ensure a hygienic living environment.
• Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques.
• Manage outdoor work responsibilities including patio cleaning, outdoor furniture maintenance, and yard tidying when required.
• Use manual handling techniques safely for heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or large items.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific needs and provide excellent customer service throughout your duties.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles; janitorial or custodial experience is highly valued.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, sanitation standards, and proper use of cleaning detergents and equipment.
• Skilled in floor cleaning methods including carpet extraction and floor polishing.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently, including heavy lifting.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and complete duties within scheduled timeframes.
• Excellent client communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Outdoor work experience is a plus for handling exterior cleaning tasks.
• Familiarity with housekeeper management practices is desirable but not required.

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
