Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and surface sanitation to maintain a pristine environment.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure hygiene standards are met or exceeded.
• Manage laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care and efficiency.
• Handle heavy lifting tasks safely when moving furniture or large items, adhering to manual handling guidelines.
• Maintain floor care through sweeping, polishing, carpet cleaning, and floor surface maintenance to enhance appearance and safety.
• Use cleaning equipment effectively, including vacuums, steam cleaners, mops, buffers, and other janitorial tools for optimal results.
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific needs and provide excellent customer service while maintaining discretion and respect for privacy.

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or housekeeping management.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor cleaning techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to perform outdoor work as needed for exterior cleaning tasks or yard maintenance.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple residences or areas.
• Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
• Previous experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required.

Pay: From $10.00 per hour
