Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of bathrooms and kitchens.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Manage laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens for clients.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and janitorial tools.
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or supplies, outdoor work when necessary, and moving items safely.
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, supplies used, and client preferences to ensure consistent service quality.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on work completed, and address any special requests or concerns.

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or housekeeping management.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, janitorial equipment, and proper handling procedures.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple homes or properties.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual handling tasks with care.
• Outdoor work experience is a plus for properties requiring exterior maintenance or yard cleanup.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their expectations.
