Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation across all rooms and areas.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to uphold health standards and ensure a safe environment.
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently.
• Maintain floor care through sweeping, scrubbing, carpet cleaning, and floor polishing using appropriate cleaning equipment.
• Manage outdoor work responsibilities including patio cleaning, outdoor furniture maintenance, and yard tidying as needed.
• Operate cleaning detergents and equipment safely while adhering to proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting or moving furniture.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning preferences or special requests, ensuring high satisfaction levels.

Experience

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in residential or commercial settings demonstrating strong cleaning skills.
• Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards.
• Experience with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, and other janitorial tools.
• Ability to manage time efficiently to complete tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining quality standards.
• Knowledge of cleaning detergents and safety protocols for handling chemicals responsibly.
• Prior outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior spaces.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs and expectations.
