Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygienic living environments.
• Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently.
• Handle manual lifting of furniture, appliances, and cleaning supplies safely during routine tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques.
• Use janitorial and custodial experience to clean surfaces like countertops, windows, bathrooms, and kitchens with precision.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific needs and provide excellent customer service while respecting their privacy.
• Organize outdoor work tasks such as patio or porch cleaning when required.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained properly and used safely according to sanitation standards.
• Follow time management practices to complete all assigned tasks within designated schedules while maintaining high-quality standards.

Experience

• Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning is highly desirable, including familiarity with janitorial or custodial duties.
• Demonstrated ability in handling various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and carpet extractors.
• Proven skills in cleaning surfaces thoroughly while adhering to sanitation procedures.
• Experience with laundry operations including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and stain removal techniques.
• Outdoor work experience is a plus for tasks involving exterior cleaning or yard-related duties.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and detergents along with proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting tasks.
• Ability to manage time efficiently while juggling multiple responsibilities in fast-paced environments.
