We are seeking a dependable, motivated, and detail oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized facility, works effectively with minimal supervision, and understands the importance of providing a positive living environment for our residents.

Position Summary

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization throughout the facility. This position requires attention to detail, strong time management skills, and a commitment to following established housekeeping and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, stairwells, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the facility.
• Disinfect frequently touched surfaces, including door handles, railings, and fixtures.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen surfaces, and designated shared spaces.
• Empty trash receptacles and properly dispose of waste.
• Change bed linens and assist with routine housekeeping needs.
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry rooms, storage areas, entrances, and designated outdoor spaces.
• Maintain housekeeping equipment, carts, and cleaning supplies.
• Follow established cleaning schedules, sanitation standards, and infection prevention procedures.
• Properly handle and store cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Identify and report maintenance concerns, hazards, or unsafe conditions.
• Respect resident privacy, dignity, and personal belongings.
• Perform additional housekeeping duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, custodial, or environmental services experience preferred.
• Experience in senior living, personal care, or healthcare settings is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a professional work environment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Must successfully complete required background screening.
