Housekeeper

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our hotel team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests. This role involves performing daily cleaning tasks with efficiency and professionalism to ensure high standards of hygiene and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
• Clean and restock bathrooms with necessary supplies, ensuring they are spotless and hygienic
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas such as hallways, lobbies, and public restrooms
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored properly
• Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the appropriate department
• Adhere to hotel policies and safety procedures at all times
• Assist with laundry duties as needed, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens or guest clothing
• Respond promptly to guest requests related to housekeeping needs

Qualifications

• Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or a similar cleaning role is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods
• Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties within scheduled timeframes
• Friendly attitude with a focus on providing exceptional guest service
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures is a plus

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
