Housekeeper/ Household Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper/Household Assistant to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment within private residences. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning, laundry, and household management tasks to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of the house owners. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, strong time management skills, and a proactive approach to household upkeep. Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties.
• Execute residential cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and polishing floors using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents.
• Manage laundry responsibilities including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with careful manual handling.
• Prepare meals by cooking according to dietary preferences or specific instructions while maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area.
• Maintain household organization by managing supplies inventory, restocking essentials, and ensuring all areas are tidy and well-maintained.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures adhering to health standards to promote a safe living environment.
• Communicate effectively with House Manager regarding household preferences and special requests to ensure high satisfaction levels.
• Use cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while practicing proper custodial techniques for different surfaces and materials.
• Assist with heavy lifting or manual handling tasks as needed.
• Taking care of 4 small dogs.

Experience

• Proven experience in residential housekeeping or household assistance roles demonstrating proficiency in cleaning and organization.
• Experience with commercial or janitorial cleaning services is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with various cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and equipment used in residential settings.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including polishing, buffing, carpet cleaning, and surface sanitation.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally with House Manager about their household needs.
• Taking care of pets.
• Ability to manage time effectively to complete all duties within scheduled periods while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Physical capability for heavy lifting, manual handling, standing for extended periods, and performing physically demanding tasks efficiently.

Pay: $5,500.00 per month
