Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of all areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
• Handle chemical agents safely by following proper handling safety procedures and safety protocol adherence
• Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces, waste removal, and ensuring overall cleanliness of the facility
• Follow established janitorial procedures to ensure consistent quality in cleaning services and safety compliance

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial roles with a focus on commercial or industrial environments
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment including floor buffers and other custodial tools
• Ability to handle chemical agents safely while adhering to chemical handling safety procedures
• Physical stamina for manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking
• Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices such as basic repairs or residential painting is a plus
• Commitment to safety protocol adherence and maintaining a clean, hazard-free environment

Pay: $13.25 - $15.00 per hour
