Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of assigned apartment communities. This role helps create a welcoming environment for residents, prospective residents, and visitors by keeping common areas, amenities, and vacant apartments clean and ready for use.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain leasing offices, clubhouses, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and other common areas.
• Clean restrooms, fitness centers, and amenity spaces as assigned.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Clean windows, glass doors, mirrors, and other high-touch surfaces.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, floors, cabinets, and appliances.
• Restock cleaning supplies and report inventory needs.
• Report maintenance concerns, damage, or safety hazards to the appropriate team member.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and use equipment and chemicals safely.
• Assist with additional cleaning tasks as needed to support property operations.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred; experience in apartment communities is a plus.
• Ability to follow cleaning schedules, instructions, and safety procedures.
• Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and proper use of cleaning products and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills and a professional, courteous approach with residents, visitors, and coworkers.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift cleaning supplies and equipment throughout the workday.
• Reliable attendance and ability to manage assigned tasks on schedule.
• Valid driver’s license may be required depending on assigned properties.
