Housekeeper/Cleaner

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our establishment, ensuring that all areas are welcoming and hygienic for guests. This position is perfect for individuals with a passion for hospitality and an eye for detail, who thrive in a dynamic environment.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
• Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings to maintain a pristine appearance.
• Vacuum carpets and mop floors to ensure all surfaces are clean and presentable.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
• Restock cleaning supplies as needed to ensure efficient operations.
• Assist with laundry duties when required, ensuring linens are clean and well-presented.
• Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations.

Experience

• Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
• A strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• A friendly disposition with good communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties efficiently throughout shifts.

We may require from time to time to do some ironing so must be flexible in all house keeping tasks.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.71-£12.75 per hour

Expected hours: 6.0 – 12.0 per week
