Housekeeper/Cleaner

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in accordance with company policies and client requirements
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
• Restock supplies and ensure cleaning tools are well-maintained
• Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment
• Assist with specialised cleaning tasks in hospitals or healthcare settings as needed
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
• Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks within designated timeframes

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hospital cleaning is desirable
• Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
• Ability to work independently and efficiently without supervision
• Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
• Nice-to-have: experience working in hospital environments or with specialised cleaning protocols
