Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents.
• Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing while adhering to safety data sheets.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by executing floor care procedures like mopping and sweeping with proper janitorial techniques.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively, ensuring all tools are maintained in good working condition.
• Handle heavy lifting tasks associated with moving furniture or large laundry loads while practicing manual handling safety standards.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is highly preferred; familiarity with industrial cleaning or janitorial experience is advantageous.
• Ability to handle chemical agents safely by understanding safety data sheets.
• Strong manual handling skills with the physical ability to perform heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards residents and team members.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, mops, and other janitorial tools.

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
