Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, floor care, and sanitation of all surfaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents.
• Handle laundry operations efficiently, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and storing linens and guest clothing with proper manual handling techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces by executing routine cleaning tasks with attention to detail.
• Follow emergency procedures and safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines when handling chemical agents to ensure safety for yourself and others.
• Use janitorial equipment effectively to perform industrial cleaning tasks, ensuring floors are spotless through proper floor care techniques including floor cleaning and chemical handling.
• Assist with custodial responsibilities as needed, supporting housekeeping management in maintaining high standards of sanitation and cleanliness.
• Ensure all cleaning tasks comply with health regulations and sanitation standards to provide a safe environment for guests and staff alike.

Skills

• Proven experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles with knowledge of industrial cleaning practices.
• Strong skills in floor cleaning, and general sanitation procedures.
• Ability to handle chemical agents safely by understanding SDS protocols and proper chemical handling techniques.
• Manual handling expertise for heavy lifting tasks related to laundry loads or cleaning equipment movement.
• Excellent people skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.
• Familiarity with emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment.
• Competence in operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, or floor scrubbers. ( Not Required), but a plus.
• Experience in housekeeping or custodial experience that supports efficient workflow.

Pay: $12.00 - $12.50 per hour
