Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment.
• Handle laundry operations efficiently by washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with care.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and steam cleaners safely and effectively.
• Use appropriate chemical agents for cleaning and sanitation, adhering strictly to safety data sheets (SDS) and handling chemicals responsibly.
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by performing regular janitorial tasks.
• Follow hotel housekeeping management procedures and emergency protocols to ensure safety and compliance at all times.
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to laundry loads or cleaning supplies while maintaining proper manual handling techniques.
• Ensure all sanitation standards are met by adhering to industry best practices for industrial cleaning and custodial experience.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive experience during their stay.

Experience

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management systems and procedures is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with floor care techniques including cleaning, polishing, and maintenance of various flooring types.
• Knowledge of chemical handling protocols and safety procedures related to sanitation products.
• Experience operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, or steam cleaners is desirable.
• Understanding of hotel emergency procedures ensures readiness in case of unforeseen incidents.
• Strong background in hospitality or janitorial experience demonstrates reliability and professionalism in maintaining cleanliness standards.

Pay: $11.75 - $13.00 per hour
