Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, floor care, and sanitation of bathrooms using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents.
• Handle laundry operations efficiently by sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and guest clothing with attention to quality and safety data sheets (SDS) compliance.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces through regular janitorial cleaning routines.
• Use industrial cleaning tools and equipment safely to ensure floors are spotless and well-maintained; conduct floor care procedures including stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures when necessary to ensure guest safety; report any hazards or maintenance issues promptly.
• Handle chemical agents responsibly by adhering to safety protocols for chemical handling and storage.
• Support overall housekeeping management by assisting with inventory control of cleaning supplies and ensuring adherence to sanitation standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial/janitorial roles with knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, extractors, and floor care machinery.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members alike.
• Knowledge of hotel housekeeping management practices and hotel experience is preferred.
• Understanding of hotel safety protocols including SDS guidelines and emergency procedures.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments requiring attention to detail.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation while following all safety regulations related to chemical agents handling.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
