Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, bed making, and bathroom sanitation using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents.
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with proper manual handling techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas like lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms by executing routine cleaning tasks aligned with sanitation standards.
• Safely operate cleaning equipment including vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and other janitorial tools to ensure efficient floor care and industrial cleaning.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures and safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines when handling chemical agents to ensure a safe environment for yourself and colleagues.
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to linen carts or cleaning supplies while adhering to safety protocols.
• Support hotel housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure continuous quality service.

Skills

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of sanitation practices.
• Skilled in floor cleaning techniques including floor care and industrial cleaning methods.
• Knowledge of chemical handling procedures, safety data sheets (SDS), and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting of linens or cleaning supplies.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members.
• Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and hospitality standards to maintain a safe environment.
• Strong attention to detail in cleaning routines, ensuring all areas meet high cleanliness standards.

Pay: $15.00 per hour
