Job Summary

Comfort Inn & Suites is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant / Housekeeper to join our hotel team. This position requires availability to work in the laundry department on weekends and assist with housekeeping duties during the week as needed.

The ideal candidate is reliable, able to work independently, and takes pride in maintaining clean, comfortable, and welcoming accommodations for our guests.

Responsibilities

Laundry Duties:

• Wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, and other laundry items.
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry room.
• Monitor laundry supplies and notify management when supplies are running low.
• Ensure linens and towels meet the hotel's cleanliness standards.
• Assist with keeping laundry equipment and work areas clean.

Housekeeping Duties:

• Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards.
• Make beds and replace linens and towels.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, sinks, and mirrors.
• Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and mop floors as needed.
• Replenish guest room amenities and supplies.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or items left behind by guests.
• Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas and follow hotel cleaning procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Must be available to work weekends in the laundry department.
• Must have weekday availability to assist with housekeeping.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous hotel housekeeping or laundry experience is preferred but not required.

Pay: From $10.50 per hour
