About the Role:

We currently have two open roles for seasonal full-time and part-time Housekeepers. The Housekeepers maintain the overall cleanliness of the facilities (clubhouse, dining rooms, restrooms, cottages, locker rooms, and administrative offices) to ensure a pleasant and sanitary environment throughout the club.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs general housekeeping duties, including cleaning and maintaining designated areas, including but not limited to cottages, conference rooms, locker rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, and other work areas so that the health and club standards are met.
• Cleans, washes, sweeps, mops, and vacuums floors and carpets.
• Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and equipment.
• Empties trash and disposes of waste properly.
• Restocks supplies as needed and reports status of low supply to supervisor.
• Reports any maintenance, repair needs, or hazards observed to supervisor promptly.
• Maintains a clean, neat, professional appearance and observes personal cleanliness rules at all times.
• Cleans windows and mirrors.
• Makes beds and changes linens.
• Picks up and drops laundry daily.
• Adheres to all health, safety regulations, and club cleaning procedures.
• Observes precautions required to protect club and guest privacy, property and reports damage, theft, and found lost items to manager.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work required.
• Customer-oriented and friendly.
• Well-organized with ability to follow instructions and work on a defined timeline.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
• Ability to multi-task and handle various projects.
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects is required.
• Ability to work in a team environment while demonstrating a positive attitude.
• Ability and flexibility to follow work schedule, including weekends and occasional holidays (4 days per week, 10 hours per day) (40 hrs. p/wk.). Schedule subject to change per Department need. For part-time: 25 hours per week with mixed weekdays and weekends.

• While performing duties of this job, the team member is exposed to prolonged periods of standing, walking, lifting, stooping and bending.

• Uses proper body mechanics at all times while performing job duties
• Required to use personal protective equipment when exposed to chemicals/cleaning materials.
