In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and presentation across different holiday lets in and around Ashbourne and Matlock . Your positive attitude and proactive approach will ensure every guest experiences a spotless, inviting atmosphere that reflects our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, lobbies, and public areas according to established standards.
• Change bed linens, replenish amenities, and ensure all furnishings are in pristine condition.
• Perform routine janitorial tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and waste disposal to maintain cleanliness throughout the property.
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure timely repairs and uphold safety standards.
• Restock supplies like towels, toiletries, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests and staff.
• Follow health and safety protocols consistently to protect yourself and others while maintaining a hygienic environment.
• Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled or requested by management.

Skills

• Previous housekeeping experience or cleaning background is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of janitorial practices and cleaning techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency.
• Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills to understand instructions and report issues clearly.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning duties for extended periods.

Pay: £13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
