Housekeeping Aide

Our skilled nursing facility is currently recruiting Full-time Housekeeping/Laundry Aides to perform daily housekeeping duties to include common area cleaning regularly; dusting, mopping, sanitizing, cleaning. Laundry duties to include picking up and delivering laundry, sorting/washing/folding laundry.

Qualifications

• Experience working as part of a housekeeping/laundry department in a hospital or nursing home setting.
• Must be able to follow directions and communicate effectively in English/spanish.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand and/or sit for long periods of time.
• Able to operate industrial washer and dryers, labeling and dispensing machines.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule and accustomed to working as part of a team to accomplish the goals of the department.
• Must be able to comply with a work schedule that includes every other weekend.
• This position requires a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
