Housekeeping Assistant

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms and public areas according to hotel standards;
• Make beds, replace linens, towels, and replenish guest amenities;
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize assigned areas;
• Collect and dispose of rubbish and transport used linens to designated areas;
• Restock housekeeping trolleys with linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies;
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, and safety hazards to the supervisor;
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests;
• Handle lost and found items in accordance with resort procedures;
• Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning equipment and chemicals;
• Able to lift, carry, push, and pull housekeeping equipment, furniture, linen carts, and other heavy items as required;
• Comply with hotel SOPs, hygiene, and workplace safety standards;
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Job Requirement

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification;
• Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is an advantage;
• Fresh candidates are encouraged to apply;
• Basic communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and/or English;
• Physically fit and able to perform manual work;
• Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, and climb stairs for extended periods;
• Good attention to detail and cleanliness;
• Responsible, honest, and able to work independently and as part of a team;
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
